It looks like there may be a new rap supergroup in the works. The news broke via Lupe Fiassco’s Twitter page<\/a> earlier this week. On April 2nd he tweeted “ALL CITY CHESS CLUB was in the studio last night…” then followed it up with “This is ALL CITY CHESS CLUB fyi: Asher Roth, B.o.B, The Cool Kids, Charles Hamilton, Blu, Diggy, J. Cole, Wale and Lupe Fiasco.” I think I speak for all of us when I say “WHAT????!!!” As you can imagine, these tweets have caused quite a stir. At this point, it is believed that this is the artist list for Lupe’s “Beamin” Remix, which is dope in and of itself, but will there be an entire project from the 10-artist supergroup?
