For those of you that live under a rock, or smoke too many rocks, or for whatever reason pay absolutely no attention to the world around you, there has been a world-wide commotion these past few weeks over an unreleased version of Apple’s iPhone 4G being lost by one of its employees and ending up in the hands of a rival company called Gizmodo. If you don’t already know, the story goes something like this: One of Apple’s employees had a version of the phone cleverly disguised as an iPhone 3G. He was celebrating his birthday at Gourmet Haus Staudt, a nice German beer garden in Redwood City, California. He had a few too many German Lagers, and headed home, leaving the phone on a barstool. The phone was taken home by someone who was sitting next to him, who made the discovery that this was no ordinary 3GS. A few weeks later, the phone was purchased by Gizmodo for $5000, and dissected, putting all the juicy details on the internet. Apple has apparently recovered the phone, but not before Gizmodo could leak juicy sneak peeks all over the internet. This is one of those sneak peeks.
