How did you get involved in the fashion industry?
I got involved in the industry because I’ve always wanted to make art works that people will appreciate and enjoy. In my last year of college, I met a guy that just started his own clothing and He opened my eyes to start my own clothing line with all the designs that I’ve been working on for the past few years.

There are few brands that influenced me and I looked up to until now. The Hundreds, 10 deep, Supreme, Mighty Healthy, Fresh Jive and Benny Gold have been a big influence for me in designing my line.
I like the Six Shooter logo! What is the idea behind your brand name and your logo?
I know a lot of people usually come up with the brand name before they come up with a logo. But I came up with the logo before I came up with the brand name. The name Sixlives comes from six shooter logo that has been the icon of my brand. The six shooter logo is not loaded with bullets because I want to support anti violence through my line. The main idea of my brand is to bring everybody from different cultures together and make the world a better place to live in.
With so many brands and labels out there, how does your brand set itself apart?
My brand set itself apart from any other brands out there because SIXLIVES is about culture and the things that we see on daily basis. My brand is made for young adults that enjoy skateboarding, surfing, hip hop, pop art cultures, graffiti, streetwear, etc. SIXLIVES is not limited to young adults only because I know there some older adults out there that enjoying the same things as we are.

The best seller items from my line are the graphic tees.
What is SIXLIVES cooking up now? What can we expect to see from you guys in the next year or two?
I have a huge passion and dreams for this line to grow tremendously and worldwide well known. I’m hoping that I can get my own store somewhere in St. Louis area and making other clothing apparel besides tees or hoodies.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? Did you ever think you would be in the clothing and fashion industry?
I’ve always want to be someone that work in creative side because I have a passion in drawing and creating art works. I never thought in million years that I’ll be in the clothing industry. But I am glad I’m in this business because I know exactly how to put my imaginations into art works.
What is the most rewarding or exciting part of owning and running a clothing brand?
The most rewarding part of owning and running a clothing line is when people buy my products and talk about how awesome my line to their friends and family.
