With a combination of 96 kw electric and three-cylinder gas engines, this sharply designed car boasts more than 78 miles per gallon on the highway, a fact that’s sure to cure any gas pump woes. This car isn’t just environmentally conscious, it’s fast and smart, featuring a respectable 354 horsepower and the ability to switch between front-wheel, rear-wheel and all-wheel drive depending on road conditions. Although this concept isn’t meant to be driven by the general public, this intelligent design inches ever closer to the future of automobile travel, a field which BMWi certainly seems to be pioneering.
