Gucci’s 2010 Spring/Summer collection was recently showcased on the runway in Milan for Fashion Week. Gucci creative director Frida Giannnini uses white with slight accents of color & patterns to showcase design with a variety of summer travel bags.

Gucci is classic for its tapered look & this collection keeps true to that with light footwear, sporty summer jackets, swim wear & thin full length shirts to name a few. When color is represented, its used in a very bold way to help the fabrics stand out. The collection includes a variety of leather, nylon, & fine cotton.

The new collection was inspired by the contrast of architecture in Rio de Janeiro, most notably by designer Oscar Niemeyer
