What kind of products does Lux Life Clothing specialize in?

Urban Luxurious Streetwear.

How did you get into this business?

Me and my partners started Lux Life Clothing because we felt like the
streetwear industry wasn’t paying enough attention to detail, quality,
and luxury.

When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger i always wanted to own a business. I didn’t really
care what it was but i just knew i had to start something.

As Lux Life Clothing where does your company get your inspiration for designs?
What kind of thought process goes into your collection?

When we design clothing we always look at the most luxurious things
in life, but we also empower people.

We enjoy what we do and we want the customer to enjoy wearing it as
much as we enjoy designing it.

How do you feel about “Brand Jacking” where a brand mimics the
designs of another brand?

“Brand Jacking” wont make anyone unique. All the brands would just be
the same. Inspiration is different, but just mimicking a design isn’t
how business should be done.

How did you come up with Lux Life Clothing? What does it mean
or stand for?

Me and my brother were sitting and talking about having a luxurious
streetwear brand. We couldn’t come up with a name so in the end we
realized that “Lux Life” would work perfectly and it represents our
brand perfectly.

With the explosion of social media, what do you guys do to build
brand exposure? What social network is most important to you Lux Life?

We use Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Instagram has helped increase our brand exposure immensely. We have
gotten most of our customers from either word of mouth or instagram.

What is one style from the past that you wish was still popular?

Its hard to say..

What is a current trend that you cannot stand?

Super skinny jeans

Snapback or Fitted? Why?

Snapbacks but fitted are always dope!!
Snapbacks are on the rise again, but I always have a few fitted
around.

Low tops or High Tops? Why?

Both. It just depends on what im wearing, but if i had to decide id
go with high tops.

What are Lux Life thoughts on todays street wear scene?

ALOT OF COMPETITION!! It just makes us work that much harder to make
it to the top.

What do you see for the future of this industry?

I see many new brands becoming huge and this industry will expand
even more. Everyone needs clothes and hopefully Lux Life Clothing becomes a
well known clothing brand.

What is one of the best things about being in this industry?

The connections and the people you work with. Hands down the best
industry to be in because you learn so much about everything.

What is one of the worst things about this industry?

I have absolutely no complaints. The hard work is definitely worth
the stress and struggle to make it big.

How would you quickly describe your past 5 years in one short
sentence?

A lot of hard work because nothing comes easy.

What sneakers did you rock as a kid?

I didn’t really rock any name brands until i bought my first pair of
Jordan’s when i was 13.

What brand names were you rocking back in the day?

I wasn’t rocking any specific brands, But i started getting into
fashion and thats when i started rocking real well known brand names.

In your opinion, what other brands are on the come-up in this
industry?

There are a few brands on the come-up such as Swag Supply, Raw caviar
clothing, Huggie bear apparel, and Cash industry.

If you had to give up Lux Life Clothing  today and go work for a fast food
joint, which fast food joint would it be?

I think i would go work for In N Out or Chick Filet because they’re
not traditional fast food companies.

What was your first job?

My first job was with my moms insurance company filing papers.

What will see coming from Lux Life Clothing in the future?

Dope crewnecks and hoodies. New T-shirt designs, snapbacks, fitted hats, custom jewelry, and
eyewear.

What trends will be big in 2013 / 2014?

I think that retro designs are on the rise.
