\nWith a few strong blockbuster releases already out now for the summer, movies such as District 9 will look to compete for a place on the box-office numbers list against the bigger studio projects. What better way to follow up films like Transformers 2 and Terminator: Salvation than with a Sci-Fi flick produce by none other than Lord of the Rings director, Peter Jackson. Shot documentary style, which gives it an interesting angle, District 9 follows the story of an Alien race who have become refugees on earth in a section in South Africa. The film involves alien weapon technology, political strife, rebellion, and more. District 9 is expected to release in the U.S. on August 14.
