In remembrance of the late Adam Yauch a.k.a. MCA of the Beastie Boys, Shepard Fairey recently created several tributes to the hip-hop icon. \u00a0The billboards, appearing in a number of locations across Los Angeles,\u00a0make use of a Glen E. Friedman photo alongside art clearly inspired by the Beasties\u2019 1986 debut Licensed to Ill. Fairey\u2019s MCA pieces can be seen at a couple locations (Sunset at Las Palmas and another on Fairfax just south of Santa Monica Boulevard).\u00a0 RIP.<\/p>\n
